# Binding MetaMask Wallet

MetaMask is an online Cryptocurrency wallet that allows you to store tokens (in this case NMT) securely; it provides a browser extension that allows you to easily access your wallet and tokens directly within the browser. The supported browsers are Chrome, Firefox, Brave, Edge, Opera. To download the suitable extension for your specific browser, visit [this page](https://metamask.io/download/) and select your browser of choice.

After you have created a MetaMask account and wallet, follow the steps below to bind it to your NetMind account.

1. Login to the NetMind account (see [here](https://netmind-power.gitbook.io/netmind-power-documentation/readme) for sign-up instructions)
2. Select "Account" from the dropdown menu (see image below).

3. Click “Bind wallet” and follow the instructions to bind the wallet (see image below). Make sure your MetaMask wallet is already connected to the browser you're using to login to NetMind, otherwise this will not work.

4. Click 'Sign' in the MetaMask wallet pop-up window.

4. A pop-up should appear, and your wallet number should be automatically recognised. Check that the wallet address is correct and click "OK" (image below on the left). If for some reason this doesn't happen, enter your wallet address manually in the box which will appear (image below on the right)

Make sure the wallet address you bound to your NetMind account is the same as the wallet address shown on your MetaMask plugin (the two boxes in red in the image below should show the same number).

You can only bind **one wallet address** to each NetMind account. At the moment you cannot undo this action and you cannot bind a different wallet to the same NetMind account. If you need to change MetaMask wallet, please create a new NetMind account and bind it to your new wallet.
