Add Machines Reward

If you wish to earn rewards by adding machines, you must use the 'Add Machine' feature on the platform to integrate your computing resources into the NetMind Network. Please refer to this page for detailed instructions on how to add your machine.

Once you have successfully added your machine to the NetMind network, you will begin to earn rewards. There are two categories of rewards the user can earn:

1. Network Connection Rewards

2. Machine Utilisation Rewards.

Network Connection Reward

The user receives these rewards if the machine is online and connected to the network for more than 5 non-consecutive hours in one 24 hour period. The amount of NMT a user is rewarded with is determined by two factors:

The network bandwidth

When your machine joins the NetMind cluster, the network speed must be higher than 100Mbps. Once your machine has successfully joined the cluster, we will conduct multiple internet speed tests on your machine throughout the day. If the test results are below 100Mbps, it will affect your current NMT reward earnings.

The connection reward is calculated based on the time the machine is online and idle. When the machine is in use, the idle time decreases, which in turn reduces the corresponding connection reward.

Machine Utilization Reward

Machine Utilization Reward is not active at the moment. You will start to receive this reward after the SSH Free BETA ends. We will update the detail reward policy for this section soon.

How to maximize Add Machines Reward

Ensure your device is always turned on and connected to the Internet

The duration for which your machine remains online and actively contributes to the training process will be taken into account when calculating rewards. Longer online times indicate a greater contribution to the platform's computing resources and will result in higher rewards. The baseline for getting NMT reward is 5 hours/day.

The more powerful the GPU, the higher the rewards

The hardware model type you contribute to the platform can also affect your rewards. GPU Models with higher performance capabilities will contribute more significantly to the training process, thus influencing reward calculation.

Make sure your network bandwidth is more than 100Mbps

After you join the network, the system will check your bandwidth connection constantly. Low bandwidth connection will lead to lower NMT rewards. For a more detailed policy, see the table below
